Lahore weather update: Heavy fog to embrace provincial capital

LAHORE: The citizens of the provincial capital are witnessing cold wave in the provincial capital. The weather is likely to remain pleasant, while there is potential chance of rain followed with gusty winds.

According to the Meteorological Department, the minimum temperature in the city is likely to be 09 degrees Celsius, while the maximum temperature may reach 16 degrees Celsius. The humidity level in the air was recorded above 56%.

According to the Met Office, the weather is likely to remain cold and dry in most parts of the country, while it will be very cold in the hilly areas. Moderate to heavy fog is expected in most districts of Punjab, upper Sindh and plain areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa during the night. During this time, light rain and snowfall may occur at a few places in Kashmir and adjacent hilly areas.
