Lahore weather update: Hot, Dry weather to persist in provincial capital

LAHORE: The weather is likely to remain hot and humid in the provincial capital Lahore from today, while there is no potential chance of rain in Lahore. The residents will witness the bright sunshine from the morning till noon.

According to the Meteorological Department, the minimum temperature in the city is likely to be 21 degrees Celsius while the maximum temperature may go up to 34 degrees Celsius. The humidity level in the air was recorded above 37%.

Weather forecasters have confirmed that there is no chance of rain in Lahore today. Additionally, Lahore tops the global pollution list, with the city recording an average smog level of 156.

The weather will remain dry in most parts of the country. However, the southern districts of Balochistan are expected to be partly cloudy/dusty winds/thunderstorms and rain at few places.

Residents of Lahore are advised to take necessary precautions to stay safe during this period, such as staying hydrated, avoiding outdoor activities during peak sun hours, and using protective gear like hats and sunglasses.
