Weather update: Rain and snowfall predicted across Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: The Meteorological Department has predicted rain and snowfall in various parts of the Pakistan.

The Meteorological Department says that the weather is likely to be cold and partly cloudy in most parts of the country, with severe cold predicted in mountainous areas.

Light rain and snowfall in the mountains are expected in Balochistan, Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir and upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

The weather will remain dry and cold in most districts of Balochistan. The weather is expected to be extremely cold in the northern districts during the morning and night hours.

Light rain and light snowfall in the mountains have been forecast at a few places in Quetta, Ziarat, Chaman, Pishin, Qila Abdullah, Qila Saifullah and surrounding areas.
