70 British nationals held in UAE for posting Iran strike images

DUBAI: The United Arab Emirates has arrested 70 British citizens for sharing videos and images of damage caused by Iranian drones and missile attacks.

According to British media, 70 British citizens have been arrested in the UAE and could face up to 10 years in prison.

Media reports have said that the arrested people are accused of sharing videos and images of damage caused by Iranian drones and missile attacks.

According to media reports, the arrested people include British tourists, citizens living in the UAE and ship crews. Some of the arrested people have been released on bail, but their passports have been confiscated so that they cannot leave the Emirates.

Media reports have further stated that receiving certain images is also a crime under Emirati law, and the punishment for receiving images can be 10 years in prison and a fine of 200,000 dirhams.

According to British media, before the war, 240,000 British citizens lived in Dubai. After the Iran-Iraq war began, it is believed that half of them have returned to the UK.
