Donald Trump unlikely to restart war with Iran: The Economist

US court dismisses Trump lawsuit against WSJ, gives option to refile

LONDON: The British magazine The Economist has said that US President Donald Trump will not go to war against Iran again, he has realized that he should not have started this war in the first place.

According to The Economist, in every war, at least one person is defeated, if the war in Iran ends with a ceasefire, then the biggest loser will be US President Trump.

According to The Economist, this war against Iran has revealed the weakness of President Trump’s vision for a new way of exercising American power.

According to The Economist’s report, Trump will not go to war again, he has now realized that he should not have started this war in the first place.

According to the report, US President Trump’s provocative statements full of threats to destroy Iran now seem as if he is trying to make his retreat appear strong.

The Economist says Trump knows that a new war would create panic in the markets and that he could make a fool of himself after claiming a golden age. Trump’s three major goals of making the Middle East safer and more prosperous, overthrowing the Iranian regime, and preventing Iran from permanently becoming a nuclear power have largely failed to materialize.

Iran also has reasons to back down, according to the report. Its leaders are constantly being targeted. The widespread destruction of its energy and transportation systems would make it difficult to run the country. It also wants sanctions lifted.

At the same time, Iran feels that time is on its side in negotiations, The Economist says, because the United States cannot permanently keep its military ready for attack. Iran does not have effective naval or air power and has lost or used many of its missiles and drones. To make more, it must face the fact that its economy has been set back by thousands of American and Israeli attacks for years.

According to the report, this war could also increase the nuclear threat. Although Iran’s facilities were damaged, it still has highly enriched uranium, enough to make several bombs. Iran wants sanctions lifted, but the incentive to develop nuclear weapons to protect itself from future attacks has also increased, which could lead to nuclear proliferation in the region.

The Economist says that the opinion of Israel in the United States is also becoming negative, which could weaken its position.

According to the report, this war shows that power alone is not right. Although America’s military superiority was clear, Iran fought an unbalanced war with limited resources. The use of force without strategy weakened America’s power.
