TEHRAN: Strong earthquake tremors were felt in Iran’s southern province of Hormozgan, causing panic among residents, according to foreign media reports.
People rushed out of homes and buildings in fear as the tremors were experienced across several areas of the province.
According to the Seismological Center, the earthquake measured 4.6 on the Richter scale.
Authorities said there were no immediate reports of casualties or property damage following the earthquake.

According to Arab media reports, the earthquake’s magnitude was recorded at 5.6 on the Richter scale. The tremors were felt in the border and surrounding areas, causing panic among citizens, who came out of their homes.
According to initial reports, no casualties or financial losses have been reported from the earthquake.
