TEXAS: A small Mexican Navy plane crashed on the coast of the US state of Texas, killing five people, including a child.
According to US media, the small plane was carrying a patient and seven other people to Houston Airport when it crashed into Galveston Bay.
A US Coast Guard official told foreign media that the accident occurred last night, and one passenger is still missing.
Initially, the US Coast Guard said that four people had been rescued alive, but later clarified that two of them had died.
On the other hand, the Mexican Navy confirmed in its statement that there were eight people on board the plane, including four Navy crew members and four civilians.
