SYDNEY: Passengers on a Qantas flight from Sydney to Tokyo were left stunned and embarrassed when they began playing an X- rated movie on cabin screens due to a technical glitch.

The film, “Daddio,” starring Dakota Johnson of “50 Shades of Grey” fame, included explicit scenes, sparking discomfort among travelers, especially those with families.

According to passengers, the movie selection system didn’t allow individual choices, forcing everyone to watch the same film. The explicit content caught many off guard, prompting some to express their displeasure.

A Qantas spokesperson acknowledged the mistake, apologizing for the “clearly unsuitable” content and assuring that steps would be taken to prevent similar incidents. The crew promptly switched to a family-friendly film for the remainder of the flight.

This incident has led Qantas to review its movie selection process to avoid future errors and ensure a more comfortable viewing experience for all passengers.
