DUBAI: The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has announced significant changes and new facilities in visa laws.
According to the UAE’s Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Port Security, four new visit visas have been issued under the new policy, including special visas for artificial intelligence experts, entertainment, events, cruise ships, and the leisure boats industry.
The authority says that foreign widows or divorced women will be given a one-year residence permit, which can also be renewed.
The authority further said that visit visas can now also be issued for friends or relatives, in which the sponsor will be allowed to invite relatives or friends up to the third degree based on their income.
It is necessary to be financially stable for the Business Exploration Visa.
In addition, the presence of a sponsor, as well as health and financial guarantees, has been made mandatory for the Truck Driver Visa.
Similarly, a one-year humanitarian residence permit has also been introduced, which can be extended under certain conditions.
