DUBAI:A unique case of a newborn baby girl teething six days after birth has come to light in the United Arab Emirates.
According to Arab media, baby Mehra Abdul Rahman was born on December 3, 2025, at Khalifa Hospital Sharjah in Umm Al Quwain, Sharjah. During a routine check-up at home, the family noticed a tiny tooth in her mouth and immediately contacted doctors.
Doctors called this condition ‘natal teeth’ and said that teeth may appear in some children immediately after birth or within a few days.

According to doctors, these teeth are usually not dangerous to the health of the child, on the other hand, Mehra’s father expressed joy and surprise at the early appearance of teeth in his daughter.
The girl is being continuously monitored to ensure normal development, and doctors have clarified that there is no need for concern.
