VANUATE: A magnitude 6 earthquake was recorded in the South Pacific island nation of Vanuatu on Tuesday, but there were no immediate reports of casualties or damage.
According to the German Research Center for Geosciences (GFZ), the earthquake occurred at a depth of about 10 kilometers below the surface of the earth, the tremors of which were felt in different areas.
Authorities did not initially confirm any major damage or tsunami warning, while relevant agencies are active to assess the situation.
