LAHORE: Two-wheelers represent the most widely used form of transportation in Pakistan, with Honda bikes including the Honda CD 70, Honda CG 125, Honda CD 70 Dream, and Pridor dominating the market significantly over other domestic and imported motorcycle brands.
Renowned for their robustness and performance, Honda motorcycles are favored for navigating rough terrain and inadequate road conditions. The 2025 model of the Honda CD 70 Red has garnered acclaim for its fuel efficiency and cost-effective maintenance.
The Honda CD 70 2025 model comes in three colors, first with red and yellow. The second model is black with red and white stripes and the third is blue. While Chinese and locally manufactured bikes may offer lower initial costs, the Honda Classic 70 retains its appeal due to its minimal upkeep requirements, strong resale value, and lightweight structure.
Despite being one of the most popular motorcycles in Pakistan, the Honda CD 70 is unlikely to see a price reduction in January 2025.
Honda CD 70 current price
As of December 2024, the Honda CD 70 is priced at Rs157,900. Over recent years, the motorcycle’s price has increased substantially, largely due to the devaluation of the Pakistani rupee against the US dollar and rising production costs.
| Bike models | Prices |
| Honda CD 70 Red | Rs 157,900 |
| Honda CD 70 Dream | Rs 168,900 |
Outlook for Jan 2025
As per the market sources, the motorbike dealers failed to indicate a price reduction in the coming month.
They said that in the upcoming year company might opt to maintain the current pricing due to the rupee’s stability against the dollar. “We have not received any hints from the company about lowering prices,” they added.
However, market analysts suggest that any stabilisation in the local currency could influence pricing decisions later in the year, but no immediate relief is expected for consumers.
