Gold prices dip by RS 200 per tola after record high

Latest Gold Rate in Pakistan – June 6, 2026

KARACHI: On Monday, gold prices in Pakistan saw a minor decrease following a record high in the previous session. The price of 24-karat gold fell by Rs200, reaching Rs260,000 per tola. Despite this drop, the current price remains Rs4,000 below its actual cost.

In contrast, silver prices in the domestic market remained unchanged. The price of 24-karat silver stayed at Rs2,950 per tola and Rs2,529 per 10 grams.

Globally, spot gold traded around $2,504 per ounce, reflecting a slight decline of $2.30 or 0.09 percent from the last session.

This year, gold prices have surged by 18 percent, or Rs40,000 per tola, driven by expectations of monetary easing and substantial purchases by central banks.

Moreover, the Karachi Sarafa Association reported the price of 24-karat gold at Rs222,908 per 10 grams, down by Rs172, while 22-karat gold is now priced at Rs204,332 per 10 grams.
