Gold prices decrease Rs200 per tola in Pakistan

Gold sheds Rs4,900 per tola, settles at Rs501,162

ISLAMABAD: A day after reaching an all-time high, gold prices in Pakistan declined slightly on Saturday, reflecting global market trends.

According to data shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), in the local market, the price of 24-karat gold per tola fell by Rs200, reaching an all-time high of Rs289,400.

Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold fell by Rs172 to Rs248,113.

In the international market, gold prices also saw a decline of $2 on Saturday, reaching $2,770 per ounce with an additional premium of $20.

In the local market, silver prices fell by Rs32 to Rs3,400 per tola.
