PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ministry of Interior has announced the closure of all compressed natural gas (CNG) stations across the province from January 20 to January 31.
According to a statement issued by the department, the decision has been taken in response to low gas pressure affecting domestic consumers.
The government cited the severe winter weather as the main reason for prioritizing domestic gas supply over CNG.
The closure is aimed at addressing the difficulties faced by households during this period of increased demand.
