New property transfer fee announced for March 2025

New property transfer fee

PESHAWAR: In a recent development, the Peshawar Development Authority (PDA) has drastically increased the new fee structure for all commercial and residential property transfer fees in Peshawar, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

The move aims to generate higher public revenue, which will, however, put extra pressure on the public while also disrupting the property business.

Plots Transfer Rates March 2025 Update

As per the revised rates, the transfer fee for a three-marla residential plot will now be doubled to Rs22,500 from its earlier status of Rs11,250.

Similarly, in the case of a transfer fee for up to 7-marla plots, it has been fixed at Rs63,000 as compared to its previous rate of Rs31,500. For larger plots which come under up to 2-Kanal, the transfer price is now Rs312,000 instead of Rs156,000.

Commercial properties are also subjected to the increased transfer fee with an increase to Rs1.2 million from Rs600,000 for one Kanal commercial plot transfer. Furthermore, the transfer fee for shops has been increased to Rs600 per square foot from Rs300.
