PIA to resumes weekly direct flights Lahore to Paris tomorrow

PIA announces discount for THIS International route

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) is set to resume its direct flights from Lahore to Paris from Wednesday (tomorrow) after a gap of five years.

According to PIA sources, the inaugural flight PK-733 will depart from Lahore’s Allama Iqbal International Airport at 12 noon carrying over 300 passengers.

Senior PIA officials will also be on board the first flight to Paris.

The Lahore-Paris route was suspended five years ago due to administrative and operational challenges, forcing regular passengers to pay premium fares on other carriers to reach France.

The national carrier has now scheduled one flight weekly between Lahore and Paris.

The round-trip fare when booked online is expected to be between Rs300,000 and Rs350,000, a relatively cheaper alternative for passengers compared to private airline options.
