LAHORE: Solar panel prices in Pakistan have increased significantly ahead of the upcoming federal budget for fiscal year 2024-25.

Amid the reports claiming that the federal govt is planning to impose additional taxes on solar panels in the budget, solar panel traders have raised the prices.

Pakistan’s solar panel prices are subject to fluctuations due to a range of economic reasons and the sporadic political unrest that occurs there. The efficiency rating, capacity, installation requirements, and reputation of the brand all contribute to the rising expenses.
