LAHORE: After IHC judges received letters with threatening remarks and unidentified powder, the saga continues as threatening letters were mailed to three Lahore High Court (LHC) judges on Wednesday.
Three LHC judges, Senior Puisne Judge Justice Shujaat Ali Khan, Justice Shahid Bilal Hassan, Justice Abid Aziz Sheikh, and Justice Alia Neelum received a letter with threatening remarks.
Lahore Police have tightened the security of the Lahore High Court and the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) officials reached court for further investigation.

A day earlier, the Islamabad High Court (IHC) judges received suspicious anthrax-laced letters. The letters also included a ‘threatening’ symbol whose details have not been specified.
According to the sources, a woman named Resham w/o Waqar Hussain sent letters to eight IHC judges including Chief Justice IHC Justice Aamer Farooq without writing her address. The judges’ staff opened the letters and there was suspected anthrax powder inside it with threatening remarks.
