KARACHI: Renowned Pakistani actress Mansha Pasha has responded to the ongoing rumors of her split with husband and human rights activist Jibran Nasir, saying the speculation has no basis or truth.
In a recent podcast appearance, Mansha discussed how social media interprets her life, especially since Jibran is not always seen with her at every event.
“People think that something is wrong just because there are no picture postings together,” she said. She criticized social media culture as some people deem a relationship healthy just based on the couple’s visibility.
“There’s this weird thought process that just because you’re seen a lot together on Instagram, then you have a happy relationship. I do not agree with that statement,“ Mansha said.
The actress indicated anyway according to her and her husband they are aware and intentionally choose not to put their private life in the public eye. “Not every household can take the pressure that comes with people knowing things about their lives.
We just want to keep our peace and stay away from media attention,“ she said. Mansha made her clarification after weeks of speculating online and rumors of a possible rift between the two.
Mansha‘s clarification comes after several weeks of speculation online, accompanied by rumors of a falling–out between the couple. Her statement reconciles those rumors and emphasizes that she and Jibran are a married couple and happy!
Mansha Pasha was previously married to Asad Farooqi in 2013, which ended in divorce in late 2018. In 2021, Mansha married Jibran Nasir in a private ceremony. Since then, they have been a guarded couple with their love life much out of the public eye from social media.
