ISLAMABAD: Following the launch of the Ace 6 and the flagship OnePlus 15 last month, OnePlus is expanding its Ace 6 lineup.
A new model, the Ace 6 Pro Max, is reportedly in development, based on recently leaked images of its retail packaging.
The images, which show a standard OnePlus-style box with a “Pro Max” label beneath the “Ace” branding, suggest that the company is joining the growing list of Chinese smartphone brands adopting the Pro Max suffix. Brands like Xiaomi and Oppo have already made similar moves this year, mirroring Apple’s long-standing naming convention.
While the use of the Pro Max branding is not new globally, it has recently gained popularity among Android manufacturers.
At this point, OnePlus has not shared any official specifications for the Ace 6 Pro Max. However, some online speculation suggests that it could debut with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset, making it potentially the first phone to feature the new processor. This is separate from the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, which is expected to power other flagship-tier devices.
More concrete details about the phone’s specifications, release timeline, and regional availability are yet to be revealed.
