ISLAMABAD: The Masjid-e-Nabwi administration has revealed that 287,000 pilgrims from Pakistan visited the mosque and the Roza-e-Rasool in the last three months.
According to the figures for the first quarter of the Islamic year, more than 1.486 million pilgrims from around the world visited the Masjid-e-Nabwi during this period. Indonesian pilgrims top the list, with 449,696 pilgrims recorded during the current Umrah season. Pakistan is second with 287,793 pilgrims, followed by 179,052 from India, 122,557 from Iraq and 76,940 from Bangladesh.
The administration highlighted that comprehensive arrangements have been made to ensure the health and safety of pilgrims. These measures have been designed to facilitate worshippers, so that they can perform their religious duties with ease and dedication.
