Bushra Bibi steps back from November 24 protest due to health concerns

Bushra Bibi shifted to hospital for eye treatment after surgery

ISLAMABAD: Bushra Bibi, wife of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan, has announced that she will not participate in the November 24 protest due to ill health, here on Saturday.

Bushra Bibi’s spokesperson Maashal Yousafzai has confirmed that she will not participate in the protest due to her ill health.

As per the media reports, Bushra Bibi had been actively participating in political activities since November 1 and had held several meetings with party leaders in Peshawar to prepare for the November 24 protest. However, her health concerns, along with a message from Imran Khan advising her to temporarily step away from political activities, led to her decision.

Sources further revealed that Imran Khan urged Bushra Bibi to focus on her well-being rather than getting involved in political promises.

The announcement comes at a critical time when the PTI is preparing for the protest in full swing, making Bushra Bibi’s absence a notable development in the party’s internal dynamics.
