SIALKOT: The district administration launched a major operation against illegal housing societies in Sialkot on the directions of the Government of Punjab, sealing several private housing schemes over alleged violations and unauthorized construction activities.
According to sources, action was taken against multiple housing societies, including CA Gold Housing Society, Star Housing Society, Abdullah Housing Society, Islam Housing Society, and Makkah Housing Society.
Sources claimed that CA Gold Housing Society, reportedly linked to Armaghan Subhani, was also sealed during the operation carried out by the District Council authorities.
Reports further stated that a video featuring Raza Subhani, brother of the minister of state, surfaced during the operation.
During the crackdown, discussions reportedly took place between administration officials and representatives of the housing societies. Authorities maintained that several complaints had been received against the societies and that construction and development work had allegedly been carried out without proper approval.
Officials said the operation was part of an ongoing campaign against illegal housing schemes across Punjab aimed at ensuring compliance with government regulations.
