CDA Chairman issues warning to defaulters

ISLAMABAD: The Chairman of the Capital Development Authority (CDA) in Islamabad, Chaudhry Muhammad Ali Randhawa, has issued a warning to successful bidders of commercial and other plots to clear their dues within the stipulated schedule to avoid cancellation of their allotments.

A meeting of senior officials chaired by Randhawa on Thursday examined the orders that Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi had delivered during his visit to the CDA headquarters on Wednesday.

Randhawa emphasized that the allottees must make their payments within the specified deadline to keep their property leases and allotments.

Additionally, he gave the competent officials instructions to settle pending payment disputes with the Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO).

Furthermore, the CDA Chairman expressed his appreciation for the ongoing operations against encroachment and directed his team to continue with the same momentum.

He also praised the honesty and hard work of the CDA board members and urged them to find more ways to increase the civic body’s income, which is responsible for undertaking various development projects with its own resources.
