LAHORE: The authorities now need to establish security protocols throughout Punjab to safeguard women and children during the Chand Raat festivities and the Eid-ul-Fitr celebration.
The CM ordered women police patrols, deployment of additional personnel at bus stands, markets, and commercial areas, and the use of drone cameras and night-vision binoculars at sensitive locations.
She also instructed authorities to eliminate one-wheeling activities while they should improve security measures around all ATMs and banks.
The transport officials received an order to supervise bus terminals while they should display fare lists at all stations to inform passengers. The measures aim to provide a safe and peaceful environment amid rising public activity during the festive season.
Maryam Nawaz demonstrated that modern technology can improve security operations through its deployment across Punjab to protect public safety.
