Faisal Mosque Itikaf fee in Ramadan 2024: Here’s Latest Update

Islamabad: The President of the International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI), Prof. Dr. Hathal Homoud Al-Otaibi, has directed the cancellation of the Rs5,000 registration fee for Itikaf at Islamabad’s Faisal Mosque during Ramadan 2024.

Following the discovery of the fixed registration fee, the president instructed the Dawah Academy to revoke it and emphasized the necessity of obtaining approval from relevant authorities for any decision concerning the mosque. He highlighted that independent decisions cannot be made by the academy.

Furthermore, the president emphasized the importance of providing all essential amenities to worshippers during the holy month of fasting and resolving any issues related to Itikaf.

Itikaf is typically observed during the last ten or nine days of Ramadan, commencing from the evening of the 20th day of the month.
