ISLAMABAD: The federal government has denied PTI Founder Imran Khan’s statement of keeping him in solitary confinement on Thursday, submitted documentary evidence of facilities being provided to Khan in Adiala jail.

During the hearing of the NAB law amendments case, the government submitted additional documents to the Supreme Court including photographs of the former prime minister meeting lawyers in Adiala jail.

In a detailed document submitted to the apex court, the federal govt provided photos of all the facilities and names of all the people who have visited him so far

The federal government, while submitting the list of those who met Imran Khan in the Supreme Court, said that the position of PTI founder being in solitary confinement is wrong.

During the hearing on May 30, Imran Khan, who had joined the hearing via video link, informed Chief Justice Qazi Faez Isa that he was denied access to his legal team. “I am being kept in solitary confinement here. I neither have any material nor a library to prepare for the case,” Khan informed the court.
