FIA arrests three Bangladeshi sisters for fraudulent Pakistani ID cards

ISLAMABAD: The Anti-Human Trafficking Circle of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has arrested three Bangladeshi sisters from Gulshan-e-Iqbal for illegally obtaining Pakistani identity cards.

According to details, the accused, identified as Ayesha Naz, Hina Naz and Afshan Naz, were wanted in a case registered in 2022.

Despite being foreign nationals, the accused managed to obtain Pakistani identity cards through forgery. Investigation revealed that the accused also made fake birth and death certificates with the help of an agent.

Officials revealed that the secretary of the union council in Rizvia Society of Liaquatabad Town issued fake certificates. Officials have initiated further action to arrest those involved in facilitating the accused.

Investigators planned to determine the involvement of NADRA officials during the inquiry. FIA officials continued their efforts to dismantle the networks that help in such illegal activities.
