Flood Victims to get major support on Bills & Taxes

LAHORE: Punjab Finance Minister Mujtaba Shuja-ur-Rehman has announced special relief in electricity bills and various taxes for families affected by the recent floods.

The announcement was made during a visit to a flood relief camp in Chohang, where the provincial minister attended Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH) celebrations with the affected families. During his visit, he distributed sweets and personally met the residents to hear about their challenges.

While speaking to the affected people, he assured them that the government would not leave the flood-affected families behind and would provide full support through a comprehensive relief package. He also highlighted that the teachings of Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH), including patience, brotherhood and public service, motivate the government’s efforts to help the needy.

He further stressed that all available resources would be used to address daily hardships and ensure access to essential facilities.

Camp residents welcomed the minister’s visit, thanking the government for its relief efforts and support during this difficult time.
