Free Zoo entry announced for special children

KARACHI: The mayor of Karachi, Murtaza Wahab, announced that the city zoo will no longer charge entrance fees to children with special needs.

The mayor issued immediate instructions to zoo authorities for the implementation of the decision, which they must execute without any delay.

Mayor Wahab declared that special needs children possess essential value for society, while he called on the community to join together in their assistance.

He explained that the Sindh government currently operates programs that provide special needs children with employment opportunities, skill development training, and awareness programs.

The government considers modern educational programs, assistive technology, and appropriate curricula for special needs children as its most important duty.
