Government issues Key guidelines for commercial operators for Hajj 2025

Hajj 2026 visa issuance to begin February 8, says Saudi Ministry

ISLAMABAD: The pakistan government has issued important directions to private operator for Hajj 2025 on Friday, according to media reports.

A total of 23,620 Pakistani Pilgrims will perform the sacred journey on the private quota of Hajj 2025, according to details.

The Ministry of Religious Affairs has released rules for the Private Hajj Scheme 2025, requesting all certified Hajj operators to have visas issued by April 18.

The private operators have been requested by the government to quickly submit documents of the service agreement for the newly assigned quota, according to reports.

The ministry also stated that an updated list of authorized operators has been posted on the official website and the Pak Hajj mobile app.

Pilgrims may monitor the progress of their apps and the services available through these platforms.

Private pilgrims should consider using the Pak Hajj 2025 smartphone app for real-time information and service tracking to ensure a seamless and transparent experience.

60,000 pilgrims deprived of performing Hajj

Due to delays in the agreement and payments to the Saudi government, approximately 67,000 Pakistani pilgrims will not be able to go for Hajj in 2025.

The Ministry of Religious Affairs had allocated a total quota of 179,210 pilgrims for Pakistan for the Hajj season 89,605 spots each for the government and private tour operators.

Only 14,000 applications were accepted under the private scheme, even though Hajj organizers failed to make timely bookings and payments.

Although the Saudi Ministry of Hajj for 67,000 pilgrims had sent SAR 7 million to Saudi Arabia, they had rejected them because of the delay in payment and agreement finalization.

In response to the Pakistan governments special request, Saudi Arabia granted an additional 10,000 quotas; however, this still did not cover the substantial number of applicants.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif directed an inquiry into the reduction of possible private Hajj quotas.
