Govt to cancel licenses of non-complaint Hajj operators

ISLAMABAD:  This time, if any citizen is deprived of Hajj, strict action will be taken against the operators, the government has taken an important decision in this regard.

According to the details, strict action has been decided against the operators who do not deposit the money of private Hajj pilgrims. If any pilgrim is unable to go for Hajj due to the negligence of the operators, the company’s license will be canceled.

Sources said that the licenses of Hajj operators who fail to transfer the money of Hajj pilgrims on time will be canceled, the company will not be able to work as Hajj operators in the future.

Sources from the Ministry of Religious Affairs further said that action will be taken against the relevant Hajj operator for financial irregularities.

Sources said that the remaining quota of operators who did not receive services by December 15 will be converted into the government Hajj scheme, the last date for depositing the expenses of Hajj 2026 in Saudi Arabia is December 31.

The Ministry of Religious Affairs has directed all private Hajj operators to deposit 100 percent of the Hajj package amount into the relevant Saudi accounts.
