Hajj flights 2026 not suspended, Ministry confirms

ISLAMABAD: The Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony has rejected reports of suspension of the Hajj flight schedule due to the current tense situation in the Middle East.

A statement issued by the Ministry of Religious Affairs on social media said that there is no truth in the news of delay in Hajj flights and all arrangements for Hajj 2026 are going on as per the scheduled schedule.

The statement issued on social media said that the public should not believe these reports, currently the process of issuing Hajj visas and other necessary arrangements is underway, the Ministry of Religious Affairs is working to ensure that all steps related to the departure of the pilgrims are completed on time, the official announcement of the Hajj flight schedule will be made after Eid-ul-Fitr.

According to the spokesperson of the ministry, after Eid-ul-Fitr, complete details regarding their Hajj flights, accommodation in Mecca and Medina, schools and other arrangements will be provided to the pilgrims so that they can prepare for their departure with confidence.

In addition, he appealed to people to ‘not trust unconfirmed news’.
