How many senators of which party will retire next month? All details inside

Senate budget recommendations propose salary increase, tax relief for salaried class

Islamabad: Details have emerged regarding which parties will have how many retiring senators next month.

According to a private news channel , 52 members will retire in March, with elections on 48 seats in the Senate. The term of 52 members will be completed on the 11th of next month.

According to the report, in March 2024, 13 senators from the Pakistan Muslim League-N will retire, along with 12 from the Pakistan People’s Party, 9 independents, and 8 from the PTI. Additionally, 2 senators from Islamabad and 4 from FATA will also retire. 2 senators from the JUI-F, 2 from the National Party, and 1 from MQM Pakistan will retire.

Similarly, one senator each from the Muslim League Functional and Jamaat-e-Islami will retire. It should be noted that after the inclusion of FATA, the remaining 4 senators will also retire this time. After the inclusion of FATA, the Senate will have a total of 96 senators.
