“Illegal Residents Affecting Country’s Security” COAS

“The illegal presence of foreign nationals in Pakistan is significantly affecting the country’s security and economy” Army Chief.

During his visit to Peshawar, Army Chief Asim Munir was briefed on the security situation, ongoing counter-terrorism operations, and the repatriation of illegal foreign residents.

He was also updated on developmental projects in the affected areas.

On this occasion, COAS met with brave officers and soldiers, praising their exceptional dedication and performance.”

Army Chief, addressing the first-ever national workshop held in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, expressed pride in the nation’s armed forces’ performance, stating that success is Pakistan’s destiny.

He emphasized that the Pakistani army would continue to fulfil its sacred duty of safeguarding the nation to the last drop of blood.

He highlighted that through the support of the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, progress has been made on projects for stability, social development, and economic growth.

Efforts were being made to thwart the nefarious designs of enemy forces for peace and stability.

Additionally, he underscored the importance of economic progress in the newly merged districts.

The Army Chief reiterated that the presence of illegal foreign nationals is severely impacting Pakistan’s security and economy.

The decision by the government to repatriate these illegal residents is in the best interest of Pakistan.

He mentioned that the process of repatriating illegal foreign residents is ongoing in accordance with established principles.
