KARACHI: In a recent development, India is preparing for a strike on Karachi port by positioning a warship with BrahMos supersonic cruise missiles near the Pakistani coast, according to reports.
A British publication states that the Indian fleet, consisting of frigates, destroyers, aircraft carriers, and anti-submarine vessels, is located 300–400 miles off the Pakistan coast.
Tensions between the two countries are believed to have increased drastically due to this deployment. BrahMos missiles have become a formidable weapon in naval warfare due to their accuracy and speed.
There has been criticism of the potential consequences of a military conflict between India and Pakistan on regional stability and global security.
