KARACHI: A disturbing incident of public indecency has shaken the city of Karachi, sparking widespread outrage and condemnation. A young man from Karachi was caught on camera stripping naked in front of a passerby woman in the Surjani area.
A disturbing video, which soon went viral on social media, displayed the man making an obscene gesture while his friends cheered him on and filmed the spectacle.
The incident occurred on Street No. 1, Yusuf Goth, and attracted the ire of the public with a crackle. SSP West Tariq Elahi Masoi took prompt action by ordering stringent measures to be taken against the man who made the indecent gesture and the one who filmed it.
Masoi stressed this is unacceptable conduct in civilized society and confirmed that police in spite of no formal complaint at the Surjani police station will take action against him.
