Earlier on Monday, a passenger bus belonging to a local transport company overturned on the M-14 motorway near Fateh Jang, leaving 11 dead and 14 injured.
According to the Motorway Police, the bus, travelling from Bahawlapur to Islamabad, met an accident after it got out of control of the driver due to the dozing wheel.
Following the incident, the National Highways and Motorway Police (NHMP) imposed a ban on Faisal Movers’ operations within the jurisdiction of the Motorway North Zone for 30 days effective from December 31, 2024.
The suspension order, issued by the Deputy Inspector General NHMP Motorway (North) Zone, cited multiple violations of safety regulations and operational protocols as the reason for suspending the operations of Faisal Movers Services.
