PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa cabinet has approved the Ramadan package on the instructions of Chief Minister Sohail Afridi.
Advisor to Finance Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Muzammil Aslam told the media after the cabinet meeting that the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa cabinet has approved the Ramadan package on the vision of Imran Khan and the instructions of Chief Minister Sohail Afridi.
Muzammil Aslam said that this year 1063 thousand low-income people in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will be given a Ramadan package, an average of Rs 12,500 per family will be given by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government.
The Finance Advisor said that the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government had given a Ramadan package of Rs 10,000 per family for the first time in 2024 Ramadan, which was followed by Punjab and other provinces in 2025.
According to Muzammil Aslam, due to high inflation this year, the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa increased the Ramadan package by 25 percent, this is the difference between the people’s and Form 47 governments.
