LAHORE: A judicial magistrate on Thursday extended the physical remand of YouTuber Saad ur Rehman, known as Ducky Bhai, for another four days in a case related to promoting gambling apps on social media.
National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) presented the accused Ducky Bhai in the District Courts Lahore today on completion of his five-day remand.
The agency stated that an investigation is underway into the matter and sought further physical remand of the accused.
Ducky Bhai’s lawyer opposed the request for physical remand, but the magistrate allowed the remand for four days and directed the agency to produce the suspect again on Aug 31.
The agency alleged that the suspect was a member of an international gambling racket and had been promoting gambling applications on social media for huge money.
Aroob Jatoi, the wife of the YouTuber Saad ur Rehman, is on interim bail till Aug 30.
