LAHORE: Lahore police have arrested the contract killer, solving the first murder case of the year 2025.
The police said that the accused Usman killed Riyaz in exchange for two Umrah tickets, a motorcycle, and Rs. 30,000.
Riyaz was killed when he was visiting a model bazaar with his wife in Lahore’s Sabzazar area.
The investigation revealed that the murder was orchestrated by Riyaz’s brother-in-law, Imtiaz, over a property dispute.
According to police, the shooter was arrested and efforts are being made to apprehend the main culprit, Imtiaz.
