KARACHI: Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) Sindh has caught a large network of India’s notorious intelligence agency RAW.
Additional Inspector General (AIG) CTD Sindh and Deputy Inspector General (DIG), while holding a press conference in Karachi, said that on May 18, 2025, a citizen was murdered in Matli, Badin.
The deceased was known for his charitable works in the area. AIG Azad Khan said that the 3 accused were seen in the CCTV footage of the incident.
Eyewitnesses also saw the accused; two accused were arrested on charges of murder, and the pistols and motorcycles used in the incident were recovered from their possession.
He said that during the investigation, it was revealed that the murder was planned by an Indian agent named Sanjay.
The mastermind of the attack, Sanjay Sanjeev Kumar alias Fauji, lives in a Gulf state.
The RAW agent hired Salman Virk, a resident of Sheikhupura, who contacted a citizen named Muhammad Umair Virk, who was the commander of the entire incident, and Umair distributed the money through citizens named Shakeel Ahmed, Muhammad Sajjad, and Muhammad Obaid.
The authorities said that during the investigation, it also came to light that a Pakistani citizen named Muhammad Arsalan, son of Habib Ahmed, met Indian agent Sanjay Kumar in the Gulf state, and Arsalan provided all the financial and logistical support to the hit team for the murder.
Additional IG CTD Azad Khan said that RAW spent a huge amount of money on this incident, and Sanjay handled the murder from abroad.
