LONDON: Nobel laureate Malala Yousafzai has said that she is saddened by the deaths and injuries of several schoolgirls in Iran.
In her statement, Malala Yousafzai said that the deaths of civilians, especially children, are unacceptable.
She has called on the international community to immediately stop the violence in the region, and all parties to ensure the safety of citizens and educational institutions, adding that every child has the right to live in peace and receive an education.
