ISLAMABAD: The Inspector General (IG) of Islamabad Police has ordered action against officers and personnel who were absent from duty during the PTI protest.
According to the media reports, a comprehensive list of such persons has been compiled.
As per the IG’s orders, absent police officers and personnel will be dismissed from service as a disciplinary measure.
The IG’s directive highlights the importance of accountability and ensures the availability of law enforcement in critical situations.
