Pakistan Armed Forces Respond to Indian Missile Attacks; Vow to Avenge Civilian Casualties

Latest Situation along LoC

ISLAMABAD: In the aftermath of India’s missile strikes on multiple locations in Pakistan, security sources have confirmed that the Pakistan Air Force and Pakistan Army are delivering a strong and immediate response to what they described as a cowardly and unprovoked attack.

According to the sources, the Indian strikes targeted innocent civilians in densely populated areas, including Kotli, Ahmadpur East, Muzaffarabad, Bagh, and Muridke. Preliminary damage assessments suggest that the attacks exclusively hit civilian structures, with no military installations involved.

“Photographic evidence clearly shows that only unarmed and innocent Pakistanis were targeted,” said the security sources, stressing that the blood of every innocent citizen will be avenged.

“India’s attacks under the cover of darkness are a blatant act of aggression. We will ensure that each drop of innocent Pakistani blood is accounted for,” the sources added.

The Pakistani military’s retaliatory operations are currently underway, and the country remains on high alert. Tensions continue to rise between the two nuclear-armed neighbors following the April 22 killing of 26 Indian tourists in Pahalgam, Indian-occupied Kashmir—a tragedy India blamed on Pakistan without presenting evidence.

Security and political analysts are warning that the situation could spiral further if de-escalation efforts are not initiated promptly by the international community.
