Pakistan weather update: PMD forecasts hot & dry conditions with rain upper regions

Will ir rain during Eid-ul-Adha?

ISLAMABAD: According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department, the weather is likely to remain hot and dry in most parts of the country today, however, rain has been predicted in a few areas.

The weather is expected to remain hot and dry in the federal capital Islamabad, while the weather will also remain dry in most areas of Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Meanwhile, rain has been predicted in the upper areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Dir, Swat, Malakand, Shangla and Mansehra.

Rain has also been predicted in the areas of Mianwali, Jhang, Faisalabad and Sargodha in Punjab, which may bring some relief from the heat.

The weather will continue to remain hot and dry in Sindh and Balochistan. Temperatures are likely to remain high in these areas, due to which citizens have been advised to exercise caution.

On the other hand, thundershowers are expected in Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan, which may make the weather pleasant locally.

The Meteorological Department has instructed citizens to take precautionary measures according to the weather conditions.
