Pakistan weather update: PMD predicts rain & snowfall in different parts of country

When will it rain in Pakistan? PMD issues forecast

ISLAMABAD: The Meteorological Department has predicted rain and snowfall with strong winds and thunderstorms in different parts of the country.

Rain has started in different parts of the country, in Karachi, it rained in II Chandrigarh Road, PIDC, Sultanabad, Shahrah-e-Faisal, Tariq Road, Ziauddin Ahmed Road, Saddar, Soldier Bazaar, Jamshed Road and Civil Lines late last night.

It also rained in Dadu, Jacobabad, Larkana, Hyderabad and Jamshoro. Quetta and its surroundings also rained, and clouds also fell in Lasbela and Winder.

According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of rain with strong winds and thunderstorms in Islamabad today, rain is expected in Murree, Rawalpindi, Jhang, Sheikhupura, Sahiwal, Shorkot, Multan, Kot Addu and Bahawalnagar.

Rain is likely in Okara, Kasur, Khanewal, Khanpur, Bahawalpur, Rahim Yar Khan, Chitral, Dir, Swat, Shangla, Kohistan, Battagram, Mansehra, Abbottabad, Haripur, Buner, Bajaur, Mohmand, Khyber, Orakzai and Kurram.

More rain is expected in Quetta, Ziarat, Chaman, Pishin, Qila Abdullah and Qila Saifullah, while thundershowers are likely in Noshki, Zhob, Kalat, Barkhan and Musakhel.

Strong winds and thundershowers are likely in Mardan, Charsadda, Nowshera, Swabi, Bannu, Peshawar, Waziristan, Karak and Kohat. Intermittent rain and snowfall are expected in Azad Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan.
