CHAMAN: Due to the unavailability of Pakistani LPG in the border city of Chaman in Balochistan, Iranian LPG gas is being sold for Rs 400 to 450 per kg, which has further increased the burden of inflation on the poor and middle class.
ARY News correspondent Akhtar Gulfam from Chaman has reported that Pakistani LPG gas is not available in the city, due to which citizens are forced to buy Iranian gas at high prices.
Despite a clear reduction in the price of LPG gas per kg by OGRA, Iranian gas is being sold for Rs 400 to Rs 450 per kg, which is putting an additional financial burden on the public.
Due to inflation, it has become difficult for citizens to buy LPG for Rs 400 to Rs 450 per kg and do business. Shopkeepers routinely blame gas suppliers for the high prices of LPG.
Citizens have demanded from the Deputy Commissioner Chaman that gas agencies be made obliged to supply Pakistani LPG regularly so that the public can get gas at reasonable prices and the compulsion to buy expensive Iranian gas ends.
