PTCL suspend services to KK Networks over Rs1.5bn dues

PTCL KK Networks

LAHORE: KK Networks, a private internet services provider, has reportedly defaulted on payments of Rs 1.5 billion owed to the national telecommunications provider, PTCL, over several years.

Due to this significant financial loss, PTCL has suspended internet services to the company and has taken legal action to recover the defaulted amount.

A PTCL official told Daily Ausaf that they are currently investigating the circumstances under which such a large amount was loaned to KK Net and why it hasn’t been recovered yet.

The telecommunication company has also been looking into who might have facilitated this loan and whether any PTCL employees benefited financially from it.

However, due to multiple bounced checks from KK Networks, their services were immediately terminated. KK Net was reselling internet services obtained from PTCL and other companies to customers in Lahore and other districts.
